After the success of Karnan this year, director Mari Selvaraj seems to have lined himself with some interesting projects for future. His immediate next is a sports biopic on a Kabbadi player and Mari Selvaraj is currently scripting for the same. The movie produced by Pa. Ranjith and starring Dhruv Vikram is expected to begin once Dhruv completes Chiyaan 60.

While there were talks of Mari Selvaraj also collaborating with Suriya, actor Dhanush beat him to the race and announced a brand new project with his Karnan director. This new Mari Selvaraj, Dhanush movie is currently in pre-production and will begin shooting in 2022.

Interestingly, Mari Selvaraj has also impressed actor Vikram with a one-liner and the director is said to be working on a script for the Chiyaan actor as well. If everything falls in place, a collaboration between Vikram and Mari Selvaraj can be expected in the future as well.
