Actor Vijay Antony who had previously planned an April release for his upcoming movie Kodiyil Oruvan, has announced the official release date for the movie. Kodiyil Oruvan will now hit theater screens on May 14, 2021.

A political thriller, the movie is directed by Ananda Krishnan of Metro fame and will be releasing in Tamil and Telugu (as Vijaya Raghavan). The film has Aathmika playing female lead and Nivas K Prasanna for music.
