Karnan starring Dhanush in the lead is gearing up to hot theater screens on April 9, 2021 and it was recently officially confirmed that the movie has been censored with an U/A. The run-time of the film has been revealed to be 2 hours 38 minutes.

Directed by Mari Selvaraj, Karnan also stars Rajisha Vijayan, Lal Paul, Natarajan Subramaniam, Gouri G Kishan, Yogi Babu, Lakshmi Priya Chandramouli among others. The film is said to be based on the Manjoli riots of 1999.
