We had previously reported about talks of Doctor getting postponed and latest update on this front is that the movie is indeed not releasing on March 26, 2021 as scheduled. Despite hints from makers that there is no change in the release date, Doctor has been pushed due to the upcoming Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu.

There are also talks that Doctor will now release in May for Eid but it looks like the makers will set a new date only post elections. An official announcement on the release date change can be expected sometime soon.
