Dhanush may be abroad for his Hollywood film right now but his projects back home are continuing production without the actor. One such film D43 (tentative title), directed by Karthick Naren recently welcomed a cast member on-board.

Actor Mahendran who was last seen playing the younger version of Vijay Sethupathi's villain character in Master has joined D 43 and Sathya Jyothi Films, producers of the movie officially welcomed the actor on-board.

D 43 also stars Malavika Mohanan and Smruthi Venkat among others and has GV Prakash Kumar for music.
