Karnan producer Thanu and director Mari Selvaraj have announced that an update on the Dhanush starrer 'is loading' and we hear the announcement is about the first single from the movie. Hinting at the same are tweets of Mari Selvaraj and Thanu who used music emojis and tagged composer Santhosh Narayanan respectively.

Karnan, based on the 1991 Kodiyankulam caste riot is scheduled for a theatrical release on April 9, 2021. The film also stars Rajisha Vijayan, Malayalam actor Lal, 'Natty' Natarajan Sumbramanian, Gowri G Kishan and Yogi Babu among others.
