Suriya 40 (tentative title), actor Suriya's upcoming film with director Pandiraj and Sun Pictures began with an official pooja ceremony today. An official update along with the ceremony pictures is expected to be outed later on.

Suriya 40 has Priyanka Arul Mohan as female lead and the technical crew includes Imman for music, Rathnavelu for cinematography and Antony for the edits.

[Update]: Sun Pictures has announced that the shooting for Suriya 40 has officially begun. Suriya, who is currently in quarantine post his COVID-19 hospitalization was missing for obvious reasons.
