The official teaser of Maanaadu has been unveiled marking Silambarasan TR's birthday today. Simbu plays a Muslim youngster named Abdul Khaaliq in this political thriller, which is directed by Venkat Prabhu and has Kalyani Priyadarshan playing female lead.

Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored music for this movie, produced by Suresh Kamatchi. Maanaadu teaser has also been unveiled in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi languages.
