Hollywood actor Matt Damon who appeared in a cameo in Marvel's 2017 release Thor: Ragnarok, is returning to the MCU with Thor: Love and Thunder. The 50-year old actor recently reached Australia and has begun 14 days of privately-arranged quarantine in New South Wales.

Matt Damon will begin shooting for the 4th movie of the 'Thor' series in the country, which the Oscar winning Taika Waititi is directing. Chris Hemsworth will return for his lead role of the 'Lord of Thunder', while Natalie Portman and Tessa Thompson will also be seen as Jane Foster and Valkyrie, respectively.

Thor: Love and Thunder is scheduled to release on May 6, 2022 and also stars Christian Bale and Jaimie Alexander among others.
