Ahead of two movie releases for Pongal in theaters of Tamil Nadu, the government has allowed a 100% theater occupancy at the urging of Master, Eeswaran actors Vijay and Simbu.

The official order from K. Shanmugam, Chief Secretary to the government, passed by the governor reads that while the precautionary measures for COVID-19 safety will be covered, the seat capacity in cinemas/theaters/multiplexes will be permitted to increase from 50% to a 100%.
