Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom, Seethakathi director Balaji Tharaneetharan had made a film titled Oru Pakka Kathai which never saw a theatrical release. The movie starring Kalidas Jayaram and Megha Akash is now releasing directly on OTT and Zee 5 will premiere it on December 25, 2020. Earlier the film was planned to have its OTT release in the month of September, however the release was pushed for unknown reasons.

Oru Pakka Kathai was shot between 2014 and 2016 and the film has 96 fame Govind Vasantha for music, 96 director Prem Kumar for cinematography and Antony for the edits.
