Over the weekend it was confirmed that actress Malavika Mohanan of Petta, Master fame has joined D43 (tentative title), Dhanush's upcoming movie with director Karthick Naren.

"I have admired Dhanush sir for such a long time, and I am so excited to be finally getting a chance to share the screen. I am really looking forward to shooting the project. I am very excited for you all to be part of this journey,” Malavika said in the video that was released post the announcement.

Touted to be a thriller D43 will see Dhanush play a journalist on-screen and the movie is a production venture of Sathya Jyothi Films.
