Tamil Nadu bowler Varun Chakravarthy is making headlines today for securing a spot in the Indian International squad that will be playing three T20s against Australia next month. However the Chennai resident has been in the news all this month for other reasons as well - 1) his maiden five-wicket haul while playing for IPL team Kolkatta Knight Riders 2) earning high praise from Sachin Tendulkar and 3) His Vijay Tattoo.

One may recall Vijay fans going berserk with excitement when they spotted a tattoo of Vijay on Varun Chakravarthy's biceps and what was only assumed was confirmed by the cricketer himself in a recent video interview. While speaking to actor Bosskey during a zoom interview for a Tamil YouTube channel, Varun Chakravarthy expressed curiosity over Bosskey's debut movie role Youth which had Vijay playing lead.

He also politely asked Bosskey to pass on the message to Vijay that if he could he would like to meet the 'Thalapathy' actor. While Bosskey didn't give any assurances, Varun Chakravathy said, "I like movies..If there is a chance to meet Vijay Sir, please let me know. I have a wish to meet him..personally..If you meet him anytime, do let Vijay know that this boy is waiting with utmost eagerness to meet him.."
