Vikram starrer Cobra was one of the movies on the brink of completion before Coronavirus pandemic brought movie productions all over to a standstill. Now with the restrictions eased, fans have been eagerly awaiting for an update on the movie and director Ajay Gnanamuthu who celebrates his birthday today may have given his audience one. 

Wishing Ajay on twitter, Cobra producer updated that the director is currently in Madurai, to which Ajay himself went on to state that upon his return Cobra work will be resumed.
