Vijay Sethupathi and Taapsee Pannu were first credited together in a Tamil movie in 2014 for R. Parthiepan directed film Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam where they both made cameo appearances. Now, the duo is all set to share screen space for a Tamil movie though Vijay Sehupathi will be seen in more of what one would call an extended cameo.

Touted to be heroine centric, this said film will see Taapsee in a street-smart lead role and an official announcement on the project is expected anytime soon. Passion Studios is bankrolling the movie with Deepak Sundarrajan, erstwhile assistant of A.L. Vijay is directing it as a debut venture.
