Not too long ago, a video of actress Jyotika's making a statement on the conditions of government hospital at Thanjavur created a furore after she compared its poor condition to a highly maintained temple in the same place. Many who opposed her statement at that time had a question about her own contribution to the said hospital.

Turns out the actress donated a whopping amount of Rs. 25 lakhs towards the upkeep of the government hospital and images of the transformed space have now made it to the internet.
