The title look poster for Dhanush's upcoming movie Karnan was unveiled today marking the actor's birthday. Dhanush plays the titular role in the movie and his character had been equated to Karnan from Mahabharata who gave away all his worldly belongings.

Sharing the poster on twitter, director Maari Selvaraj wrote, "Justice will sprout like the sun". 

Karnan is based on caste riot that took place in Kodiyankulam in 1991 and is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu's V Creations. Maari Selvaraj had previously said that the Karnan Dhanush has nothing to offer as he comes from a humble background but will be seen fighting for his rights in the movie.
