It was around this time last year that the first look of the Tamil movie Boxer was unveiled, featuring leads Arun Vijay and Ritika Singh. While Arun Vijay was playing the role of a boxer, Ritika was revealed to be playing a journalist named Meera who has aspirations in the sport. 

Since there hasn't been any solid updates on the movie, actor Arun Vijay sent out an official statement from his side that revealed that he hasn't started filming full-fledged for the movie yet. He also said that only the film's producer can comment on the project going on hold and has asked his audience to wait for an official statement from them.
