In order to bring the spread of novel Coronavirus COVID-19 under control, the Tamil Nadu government has taken the initiative of personally paying a visit to those who have had travel history abroad in recent times and ensuring a quarantine status for that home [eg: Sticker row over Gautami/Kamal Haasan home mix-up]. Recently, the health officials of the greater Chennai corporation also paid a visit to actor Vijay's home as his name is said to have been on the list of people who travelled overseas.

But upon reaching there, Vijay's family is said to have informed the officials that the Thalapathy actor hasn't had an international trip in atleast the last 6 months, causing them to leave without putting up any stickers outside the actor's residence.
