Over the weekend, a mild row was created when the Chennai corporation stuck a 'home-quarantine' sticker outside Kamal Haasan's house, sending worry-waves across his fan-base and later removing the sticker citing that it was a mistake. While initially the corportaion commissioner ruled the action as an 'error in address', it has now come to light that the sticker was meant for actress Gautami Tadimalla, former live-in partner of Haasan. 

Gautami is said to have travelled to Dubai a few days ago and since she still has Haasan's address (her residence till 2018) on her passport, the corporation authorities seem to have ended up outside the Ulaganayagan's house. Commissioner of Greater Chennai Corporation G Prakash confirmed this while stating, "Our staff pasted the quarantine sticker at Kamal Haasan's residence because Gautami had returned from Dubai recently and her passport has his address."

Gautami on her side took to twitter to clarify that she had indeed returned from Dubai 20 days ago.
