Actor Swaswika, known to Tamil audiences for films like Lubber Pandhu, Retro, and Maaman, recently won an award for her performance in Maaman at the Touring Talkies Frame and Fame Awards. After receiving the honour, she thanked her co-stars, the film’s crew, director, producer, and the audience for their support.

During her speech, Swaswika was asked which actor she would like to see in Malayalam cinema. Without hesitation, she replied, "Vijay sir. Even though he has said he will retire from films, we would love to see him in Malayalam and celebrate him there." She also called herself a big fan of the actor, adding that his face came to her mind first when asked.
