Actor Yogi Babu has hinted at a different and expanded role in Jailer 2, the sequel to the 2023 blockbuster Jailer. In a recent interview, the actor said that while his role in the first film was brief, the sequel will feature a new dimension to his character.

The film sees Rajinikanth reprise his role as ‘Tiger’ Muthuvel Pandian, with Ramya Krishnan returning as his wife. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the sequel is expected to feature several big names, with Shivarajkumar already confirming his cameo reprise.

Apart from Jailer 2, Yogi Babu is also part of AA22xA6 starring Allu Arjun and directed by Atlee. The actor said he was comfortable working with Atlee again after Bigil and Jawan, adding that Allu Arjun encouraged him to perform his dialogues in Tamil, with corrections to be handled during dubbing.

Yogi Babu is currently awaiting the release of Kenatha Kanom, directed by Suresh Sangaiah, which is set to hit theatres soon.
