Actor Vijay Sethupathi continues to stay busy with multiple projects across formats and languages. The actor was last seen in Thalaivan Thalaivii, directed by Pandiraj, alongside Nithya Menen. His long-delayed silent film Gandhi Talks also recently hit screens.

In a recent interview, Vijay Sethupathi confirmed that he will appear in a cameo role in Jailer 2, starring Rajinikanth and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar.

The actor also revealed that scripting for Maharaja 2, the sequel to the successful Maharaja, directed by Nithilan Saminathan, has been completed. Sethupathi said he is eagerly waiting to hear the script.

Apart from these, the actor has several projects lined up, including the web series Muthu Engira Kaattaan, directed by M. Manikandan, which is set to premiere on JioHotstar on March 27.

His upcoming slate also includes Train, directed by Mysskin, Slum Dog with Puri Jagannadh, and Pocket Novel, which reunites him with Thiagarajan Kumararaja after Super Deluxe.

He also has projects in discussion with Mani Ratnam and Magizh Thirumeni, while his portions in Arasan, starring Silambarasan and directed by Vetrimaaran, are yet to be shot.
