Director Cheran played lead role in a thriller titled Rajavukku Check this year which made its OTT premiere recently. Since the movie was made available on Amazon Prime Video in overseas locations, people who caught Rajavukku Check started tweeting about it. 

However Cheran had a pretty unexpected response to the praises coming his way and said, "The film was killed unjustly..The movie Thevar Magan has a dialogue 'All the milk that mother gave you is running down as blood'..Just like that all our hardwork was killed by money-minded people..Our hardwork will not leave those people.."

Rajavukku Check was written and directed by Sai Rajkumar and followed the predicament of a policeman who has to rescue his teenage daughter from the clutches of four criminals.
