The announcement about Suriya's 39th film titled Aruvaa directed by Hari has excited the fans and audience. The film to be bankrolled by Studio Green is said to be a rural entertainer. The film will be the duo's sixth collaboration after Aaru, Vel, Singam, Singam 2 and S3. 

Reportedly, the story will be along the lines of Vel and will focus on the emotional bond between two brothers. Producer Gnanavel Raja in a recent interview to TOI has said that Aruvaa will be feel-good family entertainer which has action and will be high on emotion as well. The film is set to go on floors in April and will be shot predominantly in locations like Ramnad, Rameswaram and Tirunelveli. Aruvaa which will have music by D Imman and stunts by Anl Arasu is set to hit the screens for Diwali.
