Prabhu Deva is essaying the role of a cop for the first time in his career in Pon Manickavel. Directed by AC Mugil, the action-packed cop drama has got a new release date. The film which was earlier scheduled for release on February 21 will now hit the screens on March 6.

The trailer of the film which was released recently fetched good response from critics and audience. Nivetha Pethuraj plays the leading lady. The suspenseful investigative thriller is produced by Nemichand Jhabak and has music by D Imman.
