Indian 2 is one of the hugely awaited films across the country. The film marks the reunion of Kamal Haasan and Shankar after two decades. The film shooting is progressing at a brisk pace.  The team is currently canning the pre-Independence era sequences which is said to be a flashback portion featuring Kamal Hassan and Kajal Agarwal.

Kajal Agarwal has started shooting for her portions. Sharing a photo from the sets where she is getting ready for the shoot, she wrote, "Super stoked to finally start filming for #Indian2"

Kamal Haasan and Kajal Aggarwal would be playing a nonagenarian and octogenarian in the film. Reportedly, the film is currently being shot in Chennai, and a humongous set has been erected at the EVP Film City. 

'Indian 2' has a huge star cast that includes Bobby Simha, Siddharth, Vivekh, Samuthirakani, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Vidyut Jammwal, Delhi Ganesh, and others in important roles. Indian 2' produced by Lyca Productions has music by Anirudh, cinematography by Rathnavelu and editing by Sreekar Prasad. The film is expected to hit the screens for Pongal 2021.
