Kerala Minister PV Anvar expresses his solidarity for Vijay!

Actor Vijay who was shooting for his upcoming film 'Master' at the Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC) was approached by IT officials who persuaded him to return to Chennai to aid their investigation on the use of unaccounted money in his recent film Bigil. The film shooting has been halted mid-way due to this unexpected move.

Vijay who has been brought back to his Chennai residence is still being interrogated by IT sleuths since yesterday. According to reports, Income Tax raids were carried out at 20 locations related to AGS Cinemas, the producers of Bigil for alleged tax evasion. The officials also searched the premises of film financier Anbu Chezhian in Madurai.

And while the actor is being interrogated, fans of actor Vijay have been showing their support for him by trending the  hashtag #WeStandWithVIJAY. Kerala MLA PV Anvar took to his Facebook page to express his solidarity for Vijay. "Will change history. The opposing voices will be suppressed. The day he called his stand. They have started hunting..It is clear that the film 'Mersal' has so much inhibited the BJP's growth in Dravidian soil. C. Joseph Vijay in solidarity" he wrote in Malayalam.
