It is official now that the young sensation Karthick Naren, who rose to fame with "D16" is all set to direct actor Dhanush in his 43rd film. The film will be produced by Sathya Jyothi films. The production house has released an announcement poster today. Interestingly, the poster gave away the main plot of the film, which promises to be an investigative thriller around journalism.

Following is the plot as revealed in the poster:

"Independent Journalist Gurumoorthy and his wife have been killed in a freak accident which happened yesterday night at the outskirts of Chennai. However the police has suspected foul play in their deaths, in-spite of this tragic event couples eldest son appeared very strong when he received the news. He has even promised that he will follow the footsteps of his father! 

The film will have music by G.V Prakash Kumar. The other cast and crew of the film will be announced later. The film is scheduled for release in October 2020.
