Google India has released its annual 'Year in Search 2019' list in several categories including movies, personalities, songs, sports events and news. Kabir Singh emerged as the most searched movie in India, followed by Avengers: Endgame, Joker and Captain Marvel.

Five Tamil movies have made it to the list of most searched movies of 2019 in the South Indian Entertainment segment which has been predominantly dominated by Telugu Film industry for all the categories like top searched for movie, star and songs.
