Internet star and movie actor Navin Polishetty gained critical recognition with his Telugu film Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya which was a story about a Sherlock-Holmes wannabe trying to prove his salt in a society that wouldn't take him seriously. The comedy-crime thriller was co-written by Naveen, directed by Swaroop and was one of this year's unexpected hits. 

The quirky film which revolves around the crimes using corpses is now being remade in Tamil and reportedly actor Santhanam has been approached to reprise the lead role. It is also being said that  Vanjagar Ulagam director  Manoj Beedha will be helming this yet-untitled remake An official confirmation on the same is awaited.
