Bigil has been doing good business in Australia ever since its release. The film emerged as the biggest opening weekend grosser of 2019 beating Petta. It has collected A$523,989 (Rs. 2.56 cr) till date. Bigil had dethroned Mersal which had grossed A$509K to become Vijay's highest grosser in Australia. Bigil marks Vijay's second film to have crossed $500k mark in Australia.
