The trend of last-minute delay in KDM of a movie has become so common in Tamil Nadu that it has become a no-surprise factor; however it did come as a shock to many when a star like Vijay was having his movie screening delayed due to this never-ending 'KDM delay' plague. Thankfully, Bigil screening was delayed at max by 15 minutes and there were no extremities like show cancellations or falling prey to financial issues [The latter is a given, considering the whopping Rs. 180 Cr. budget of the movie].

Theater owners promptly took to their social media pages to inform of this showtime delay due to KDM and here are some of their updated timings:
