Rajini is very careful about hurtful dialogues: Darbar director A.R. Murugadoss

A.R. Murugadoss is currently busy with the post production of his upcoming film Darbar, which is an action entertainer starring Rajinikanth in the lead. In a recent print interview, the director opened up about his film and his lead actor and without giving too much away, Murugadoss had this to say,

"Darbar is a fast mass commercial movie..It is a movie about a action-oriented police officer like Alex Pandian (a character Rajinikanth essayed in 80s blockbuster Moondru Mugam). .Suniel Shetty essays a powerful villain in the movie which was praised even by Rajinikanth..And as is the norm, SPB has sung the opening number for Rajini."

About the dialogues in the movie, Murugadoss added, "Rajini Sir is very careful about not hurting anyone's sentiments with his dialogues. He is constantly checking on whether or not a dialogue said in a certain way has means of being misconstrued down the line.."

[The actor's stance seems to be in stark contrast to his counterparts, whose films thrive on taking digs at film personalities, politicians and even the superstar himself]. Also starring Nayanthara, Yogi Babu, Prateik Babbar among others, Darbar is planning to release for Pongal next year is awaiting a motion poster release on November 7, 2019
