For the past few days now, word of Bigil trailer being under works has plagued the internet with the grapevine even suggesting that the video was expected on October 2, 2019. However, the trailer did not release on that date and the video running into a censor issue was said to be the reason for the same. 

Now, producer Archana Kalpathi seems to have confirmed to a fan that the official update on the film's trailer will be outed today i.e. October 7, 2019, the auspicious Ayudha Pooja day.

While around 6 or 7 PM is when the announcement is expected, some sources also suggest that instead of a release date and time, the trailer might actually be unveiled at that time.
