Latest buzz in the Tamil film industry is that actor Vadivelu is making a comeback and that too in a Kamal Haasan movie. Reportedly, Vadivelu is all set to share screen-space with Haasan in the latter's upcoming movie Thalaivan Irukkindran which is said to be a sequel to one of Haasan's notable films, Thevar Magan.

Interestingly, Vadivelu had an important role to play in Thevar Magan as well and if the 'Vaigai Puyal' is indeed on board Thalaivan Irukkindran, then he is reuniting with Kamal Haasan after 21 years. [The duo's last film together was Kaadhala Kaadhala in 1998].

Thalaivan Irukkindran is a production venture of Lyca Productions and seemingly Vadivelu has agreed to do a film for them for the remuneration he got for Imsai Arasan 24am Pulikesi (from which he has now dropped out).
