Meat Shop Owners Protest against Vijay's 3 month old Bigil First Look!

On June 21, 2019 actor Vijay unveiled the first look poster of his upcoming film Bigil, which is expected to hit theater screens for Diwali this year. In a bizarre new development, meat shop owners in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu have decided to protest against the three month old poster, citing Vijay's posture of legs-on-a-piece-of-wood.

According to these meat shop owners, the wood represents the board on which they cut meat and Vijay by placing his legs on the same has disrespected the sanctity of their profession.

It is worth mentioning here though that the wood in the poster may or may not be the meat-chopping base the shop owners are referring to. It is also worth mentioning here that a shop owner by the name Gopal has apparently petitioned for the removal of such a scene (in case of its existence) from the Atlee directed Bigil with the Coimbatore district collector, in front of whose office the protesters had gathered.
