It looks like Netflix India is all set to evade the Tamil territories by teaming up with four celebrated filmmakers to make an anthology based film. The industry sources state that talks are going on with filmmakers Gautham Vasudev Menon, Vetrimaaran, Sudha Kongara and Vignesh to be a part of this first of its kind digital platform venture.

It happened with ‘Lust Stories’ that was a compilation of four stories on contemporary take on eroticism and relationships directed by Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap, Dibakar Banerjee and Zoya Akhtar. Now the quadric league is back with Netflix to make yet another anthology ‘Ghost Stories’, which are going to be spine-chilling supernatural thrillers.

Meanwhile, this new buzz on Netflix approaching these four filmmakers down the south has already started creating sensational waves on social media platforms. Maybe, if it happens, what could be the genre all about? Gangster crime drama or Romance? We need to wait and watch out indeed!
