Actress Jyotika’s untitled next, reportedly a film set against rural backdrops is now said to have got Samuthirakani and Soori to play important roles. Earlier, it was mentioned that Sasikumar will be playing one of the lead characters, where he is supposedly playing Jyotika’s brother. However, there hasn’t been any official word on their roles for now in this film, which is bankrolled by Suriya for 2D Entertainment. Saravanan, who earlier debuted with the film Kathukutty starring Naren in lead role, is helming this project. 

On her part, Jyotika has been consistently working on many films that are scheduled at different stages of production. She had couple of releases in a span of one month, which includes Ratchasi followed by Jackpot hitting screens last Friday (August 2). Now she is working on her next film Ponmagal Vandhaal, which went on floors recently.
