The Bigil team avoided this Sunday break and continued to shoot as they want to wrap up the shooting by end of this month. The Sunday shoot involved a scene, where Vijay rode a bike and it was shot across the newly built bridge across North Chennai. As soon as the news about the shooting spread, the area was flooded with heavy crowds and they turned crazy looking at the stylish avatar of Thalapathy Vijay. In turn, Vijay spent few minutes waving hands and greeting the crowd and left the place.  

Bigil marks the third collaboration of Vijay and director Atlee, which is gearing up for Diwali 2019 release. The movie is bankrolled by AGS Entertainment and has Nayanthara playing the female lead. Kathir, Jackie Shroff, Vivek, Yogi Babu, Induja, Reba Monica John, Varsha Bollama and other prominent actors. AR Rahman is composing music for this film and the first single track ‘Singappenney’ has became a great hit.
