The first look of Mirchi Shiva’s Sumo was released few minutes ago with Venkat Prabhu unveiling it on his Twitter page. Posting the first look, Venkat Prabhu mentioned, “Agila Ulaga Superstar Actor Shiva is now in a new avatar Sumo. Here is the wacky Sumo First look with a fruit Ninja abstract. Best wishes to the whole team.”

The first look has Mirchi Shiva seen along with real life Sumo wrestler at the collaged backdrops of our heritage Temple in Tamil Nadu and Shaolin Temple in China. The film’s shooting is already happening on full swing in Chennai following which the team will fly down to Japan for some important scenes. 

Produced by Dr. Ishari K Ganesh for Vels Film International, Shiva and Priya Anand, who had earlier shared the screen space together in Vanakkam Chennai, are teaming up again for this film. Filmmaker Hosimin (February 14 fame) is directing this film, which has story, screenplay and dialogues written by actor Shiva himself.  Rajeev Menon’s cinematography is already labeled as one of the greatest attractions of this film, which has musical score by Nivas K Prasanna.
