Actress Amala Paul's Aadai which was supposed to hit theater screens today alongside Vikram's Kadaram Kondan, had its shows cancelled earlier this morning both within Tamil Nadu and in overseas locations. Financial issues over issuing KDM key is said to be the reason for the same and it remains unclear when the film would be screened next.

Aadai is an A certified film directed by Rathna Kumar of Meyaadha Maan fame and the film recently landed in trouble after politician Rajeshwari Priya, the founder of Anaithu Makkal Katchi filed a complaint with the DGP against the film for "for promoting nudity and spoiling Tamil culture".
