As suspected earlier, it has now been revealed that actor Vijay has crooned for a song in his upcoming movie Bigil, which has music by A.R. Rahman. The single has been titled Verithanam and producer Archana Kalapathi announced the same by sharing a picture of the team including director Atlee and lyricist Vivek. 

Bigil will see Vijay playing dual roles of father and son (Michael) and is set against the backdrop of women's football. The film is produced by AGS Entertainment and is aiming for a Diwali release this year.
