A.R. Ameen, son of the Oscar winning A.R. Rahman has been carving a path of his own in the music industry, releasing his first solo single in Tamil titled Sago.  The song composed by A.R. Rahman and penned by lyricist Vivek and ADK was released as a part of 7up Madras Gig' season 2 and Ameen has been in the spotlight ever since.

So it wasn't a wonder that Ameen came across the most-expected question of all in one his interviews - his favourite musician. The young musician revealed while his Grammy winning father definitely holds a spot, he is also inclined towards the music of Yuvan Shankar Raja and Anirudh among Indian composers. [Michael Jackson, Ed Sheeran, Post Malone, Justin Bieber, Kanye West were his choices from the west]. 

Ameen has also been vocal about the support and freedom he received from A.R. Rahman while producing the music of Sago. He has also said that while comparisons are bound to happen, his father has always told him to 'Just be himself.'
