Thalapathy Vijay's 63rd film with Atlee is now the most sought after film in the industry. According to the buzz, the film will see the highest pre-release business for Vijay. The distributors in Tamil Nadu are ready to pay more than ₹70 crore, which has been the benchmark for Vijay's films so far.

The satellite rights of the film have been already sold to Sun Network for around ₹50 crore. Goldmine Tele Films has bought the Hindu satellite rights for ₹30 crore, which is touted to be a new record. Overall, the trade is confident that Thalapathy 63's pre-release business will touch the magical figure of ₹200 crore when overseas and other Indian states' distribution rights are also sold.
