Avengers Endgame Review

Love it or hate it, Marvel’s world is something that is not easy to stay away from. Right from the standalone films of Iron Man and Captain America, the popularity of the series has gone from strength to strength with the introduction of about two dozens of characters, back stories, worlds and much more. It is indeed a gargantuan effort to put together something of this sort, and even tougher when the responsibility of culminating it in the right fashion comes upon those in charge. But mind you, the Russo Brothers pull off probably the best possible end to what has been a very memorable array so far. Avengers Endgame is indeed a massively entertaining fare that checks all the boxes and ends up fulfilling your thirst in all the ways.

Right from the beginning, the film constantly gives you surprises one after the other, taking you to places you won’t imagine going to. It is definitely challenging to talk about the film without revealing any spoilers, as the root of the storyline is broken at the 20th minute itself, without having any warm up sessions. Instead of giving the audience time to get into the mood of the film through the paths of the different characters, the Russo brothers decide to kick start proceedings right from where they left off and get really inventive with their structure. Apart from all the entertainment, the film also acts as an epic trip down memory lane, where the viewers get to revisit some much-loved pomp and prop that stand clear in our minds even today. There are hardly a handful of dull moments in the film, as it is highly fulfilling to see the standard of work that has gone in, be it the visuals, the action, the fan service or the giggles which are very well spaced out.

The film can be split into three parts which is the three hours; the first one pulls you into the premise, the second one puts across the hurdles, while the third is an absolutely amazing experience that deserves to be seen on the big screen. With equal amounts of adrenaline rushes and the emotional value which hits you like a ton of bricks, this is everything one wants from the Avengers and the people around them.

Truly, the Russo brothers have put together a special product that is made for the big screen. Even with little knowledge about the Marvel-ous world, one can enjoy, emote and ultimately cheer for the awesomeness on screen. Despite the little niggles here and there, Avengers Endgame is a new high in blockbuster filmmaking that has held onto a spot that is nearly unassailable. Down below all the color, there is a strong stream of heart, and that’s where the film wins.

Wholly triumphant, entirely memorable big screen watch.
