Plot of Thalapathy 63 Revealed?

 

An article on Vijay's upcoming film Thalapathy 63 in a leading Tamil magazine is talk of the town right now for the piece contains information which more or less reveals the plot of  the movie.

As we know already, Vijay plays a football coach named Michael in Thalapathy 63 which is touted to be a film on politics in sports and according to the latest update, Vijay plays actor Kathir's college friend who then goes on to avenge the latter's death (upon finding that it was murder) and leads his friend's football team to victory.
 
It has also been revealed that actor Daniel Balaji plays the assassin here and a cat-and-mouse game ensues between him and Vijay in the movie. Nayanthara who plays Vijay's romantic interest in the film is said to be featuring in the flash-back portions.
 
As for the film's shooting, Atlee and team are planning on shooting the climax portions in a 6 crore set at Chennai's EVP studios and wrap filming by July, 2019. A few scenes involving foreign locations will be shot this month in countries like USA, France, Australia and Bulgaria.
