Thalapathy 63: Latest on Vijay-Atlee's upcoming sports-drama!

 

As we reported earlier, the shooting of Atlee directed Thalapathy 63 (tentative title) which is an upcoming sports drama featuring Vijay as a football coach, is currently happening in Chennai.

Earlier the team was shooting at Binny Mills in Meenambakkam and now the crew will be seen shooting in a studio where apparently a replica of the Napier Bridge has been created.  

Another update on the film is the for the opening song in the movie, Vijay who supposedly plays Michael in the movie will be shaking a leg with over 100 children in it.

It is worth mentioning here that Vijay has performed with child dancers in Atlee's earlier two films Mersal (for the songMersal Arasan) and Theri (for the song Jithhu Jilladi). 

Thalapathy 63 is produced by AGS Entertainment and also stars Nayanthara, Kathir, Vivekh and Yogi Babu among others. The film has A.R. Rahman for music and is expected to highlight how corruption the football association affects the lives of aspiring footballers in our country.
