Director Ram's Peranbu which has been shaped on paper since 2004 before it started materializing since 2015 is finally having its theatrical release on February 1, 2019.  At this time, a sneak peek video of the movie has been unveiled for everyone's view.
 
The video (and the film for its most part) shows the bond a daughter with spastic paralysis shares with her father Amuthavan, who journeys from being a self-centered coward to a man of patience and compassion.

 
By director Ram's own confession, Peranbu is an out and out drama, the seed of which was put in his brain during a train journey in 2005 when he met a person whose daughter was suffering from spastic paralysis. Peranbu however is not based on this man; the movie takes inspiration from only his story.

Besides Mammootty, Peranbu also stars Anjali, Sadhana, Samuthirakani and Anjali Ameer among others.
