Madhavan to solely helm Rocketry: The Nambi Effect after co-director's exit!

Director Ananth Mahadevan and Madhavan go long back, for Madhavan had starred in Ananth's debut directorial Dil Vil Pyar Vyar in 2002. Years later they were to reunite again as co-directors in the Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, a film based on the life of scientist and aerospace engineer S. Nambi Narayanan, who was falsely charged of espionage in 1994.

However, this reunion has been cut short, for Ananth has exited the movie due to 'unavoidable circumstances' and Madhavan will now solely be taking over as the director of the film. Speaking on the same, the Vikram Vedha actor was quoted as saying,

"Ananth Mahadevan is an extremely talented filmmaker. However, owing to unavoidable circumstances and certain pressing commitments he could no longer direct Rocketry - The Nambi Effect.. The film is shaping up well and I can't wait to tell the incredible story of Nambi Narayanan to the world,"
